Crispy Tofu With Black Pepper Sauce
2 spoons of sodium soy sauce
1 spoon of brown sugar
Take 1 spoon of chili garlic sauce
1 spoon of rice vinegar
8 ounce of firm tofu
4 green onions
1 spoon of ground pepper
8 ounce of drained tofu
3 spoon of cornstarch
6 spoon of canola oil
3 garlic cloves
2 spoon of grated fresh gingerroot
8 ounce of sugar snap peas thinly sliced
Take the first fur ingredient in the bowl and mince the white parts of it with green onions and make sure that you thinly slice the green parts.
Next, cut the tofu into ½ cubes and make sure that your dry it firmly. Next, toss the tofu with a cornstarch. Take a large skillet and add 4 tablespoon of oil into a medium high heat. Add the tofu into it and cook it until it gets golden brown and crisp, make sure that you cook it for at least 5-7 minutes Remove it from the pan and drain it.
Take the same span up and heat 1 spoon of oil for about 5 minutes in a medium heat. Add peas into it and fry it firmly until it gets crisped and tender. Next remove the pan and heat it in a medium heat. You can add pepper into it and cook it for the next 30 seconds. After this, add ginger, garlic and minced green onions into the same pan and stir it for the next 40 seconds. Into the same pan stir the soy sauce mixture and cook it firmly until you see it has began to be slightly thickened. Remove it from the heat, stir the peas and tofu in it and sprinkle up the sliced green onions.
Korean-Style Soft Mapo Tofu
Add 1 vegetable oil
1 pack of soft tofu
1 finely diced onion
3-4 cloves garlic that is slightly minced
2 green onion
½ bell pepper
1 spoon of sesame oil
½ spoon of maple syrup and water
1.5 spoon of soy sauce
2 Spoon of gochujang
1 spoon of potato or corn starch
Take a fry pan and heat up the oil in medium flame. Add green onions, bell pepper and garlic into it and cook it for next 2 minutes. Next mix up the gochujang, soy sauce and maple syrup in a bowl and thin it out. Yu can add water and mix it well in it until the clumps are gone. You can even add starch into the sauce to mix it well. Add the sauce mixture and the tofu in the frying pan with vegetable mix. And mix all the things well in the bowl. Cook it for a several minutes and add some oil. So, it’s ready you can serve it with rice.
